Introduction
This statement is made on behalf of 12 Jersey Ltd pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”). It constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year. We are committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within our business and supply chain, and we impose the same high standards on our suppliers.
Our Business and Supply Chains
12 Jersey Ltd is an online retailer of sports merchandise, specialising in football jerseys and fan apparel. We operate from our base in the United Kingdom and serve customers globally. Our supply chain includes manufacturers, distributors, and logistics partners who help us source, produce, and deliver our products.
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.
Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our internal policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We expect all our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners to comply with these same high standards.
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have in place systems to:
  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
  • Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Protect whistleblowers.
Supplier Adherence to Our Values
We have zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values, we have a supply chain compliance programme. We expect our suppliers to operate with the same principles of fairness, honesty, and integrity.
Training
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff.
Our Effectiveness in Combating Slavery and Human Trafficking
We use the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we have been to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:
  • Regular review of our supply chain.
  • Ensuring all employees complete training on modern slavery.
  • Active investigation of any reports of modern slavery and remedial action taken.
